The mission of the International Conference on Public Policy Design (ICPPD) is to advance the study of policy design in policy process research. The conference features papers that advance theory and methods for studying policy design (defined either as policy formulation or policy content) within the realm of policy process research, particularly papers exploring antecedents and consequences of policy design. Papers presented at ICPPD connect policy design concepts and theories with policy process models, theories, and frameworks in which policy design is implicitly or explicitly recognized but otherwise conceptually or empirically underattended.
